There are 2 different types of thermostat.
TH132AF THERMOSTAT
What does it do?
The TH132AF thermostat is one of the most advanced in floor heating and allows you to control the air temperature in the room where the thermostat is mounted. The underfloor sensor is used as a floor temperature limit.
What floor type can it be used with?
The TH132AF thermostat is ideal for use under timber and laminate floors as well as under tiles and natural stone.
Which under floor heating products can it be used with?
This thermostat is included as standard in our Zenaflex underfloor heating systems.
What’s the difference between this and the TH132F Thermostat?
The TH132AF works on the AIR temperature in the room. This means that the thermostat face plate MUST be mounted in the same room as the heating system.
TH132F THERMOSTAT
What does it do?
The TH132F thermostat has a single temperature sensor which is placed under the floor. As all the temperature sensing takes place under the floor the thermostat can be mounted remotely up to 20 metres away from the heated room.
What floor type can it be used with?
The TH132F thermostat can be used with any floor type.
Which under floor heating products can it be used with?
This thermostat is included as standard in our Cable Kits, Mat Kits and Inscreed Cable Kits.
What’s the difference between this and the TH132AF?
The TH132F works on the FLOOR temperature in the room. This means that the thermostat face plate can be mounted remotely to heating system – in another room entirely up to 20m away.
